A man has been arrested on the freeway following a serious assault at Netley this afternoon.
At 1.30pm Wednesday 28 January emergency services were called to Marion Road after reports a man had been stabbed.
When police arrived, they located a 32-year-old man with stab wounds to his legs.
He was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
When the victim and SAAS crew arrived at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, a man attempted to enter the ambulance, armed with a knife and making threats.
No further stabbing occurred and luckily no one was injured.
The suspect fled the scene in a white Porsche which was tracked to the South Eastern Freeway at Mount Osmond.
The suspect was arrested without further incident after the vehicle was found stopped on the side of the road.
It is early in the investigation, and the man is expected to be interviewed by police this afternoon.
Police do believe the incident is not random.
