Police make arrest after crime spree

Port Phillip Criminal Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a woman after she was allegedly located in a stolen vehicle on 16 November.

Detectives were investigating a 10-day crime spree across St Kilda, Williamstown, Fitzroy and Spotswood.

A search warrant was executed at an address on Nicholson Street in Fitzroy where it's alleged a number of stolen goods were located.

Later that day a 21-year-old woman was arrested in an alleged stolen vehicle in Sunshine.

The St Kilda woman has been charged with 2 x aggravated burglaries, 3 x burglaries, 5 x theft of motor vehicle and a number of dishonesty offences.

She has been remanded to appear in Sunshine Magistrates' Court on 21 November.
