A man has been arrested following a fatal hit run in Mooroolbark yesterday.
Police were called to Manchester Road after an unconscious male was located on the road about 1.55am on 5 December.
The 28-year-old Lilydale man was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
A 39-year-old Ferntree Gully man self-presented to a police station this morning.
He is currently being interviewed by Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives in relation to the incident.
A white Nissan Dualis SUV has been located and will be forensically examined.
