Police make arrest - Aggravated unlawful entry

Detectives from Strike Force Trident have arrested a 32-year-old man in relation to incidents in Darwin and Palmerston.

Police allege that on 9 November the man unlawfully entered a home in Gray, stealing a number of items including the victim's Toyota Hilux. The vehicle was later found abandoned.

Police further allege that on Saturday 14 November, the man broke into five vehicles parked in the Darwin CBD.

Following investigations, Trident members arrested the man yesterday morning.

He was charged with:

  • 1 X aggravated unlawful entry (dwelling - night/occupied)
  • 1 X aggravated unlawful use motor vehicle
  • 3 X stealing
  • 5 X trespass
  • 6 X damage to property

The man was remanded in custody to appear in the Darwin Local Court today.
