The Northern Territory Police Force has arrested a 19-year-old male in relation to an assault that occurred in Alice Springs yesterday.
It is alleged the offender physically assaulted a worker conducting cleaning duties in the southern end of the Todd Mall near Gregory Terrace early yesterday morning.
At 12:40pm today, the 19-year-old male was arrested by Strike Force Viper members at a licensed premises on Todd Street.
He remains in police custody with charges expected to follow.
