Police make arrest - Domestic Violence in Darwin

Northern Territory Police have charged a 27-year old man with four counts of Aggravated Assault.

Detectives from the Domestic and Family Violence Section, along with the Territory Response Group, arrested the man in Moulden this afternoon.

Detective Senior Sergeant Megan Blackwell said police would like to thank the members of the public who provided information about the assaults which were allegedly committed by the man against his partner.

"Addressing domestic and family violence in our community is one of the highest priorities for the Northern Territory Police Force.

We are committed to preventing and reducing the high rates of domestic and family violence."

The man has been remanded in custody and will appear in court on Monday.
