Police Make Arrest Over Drug Trafficking At Port Pirie

A Solomontown woman appeared in court yesterday charged with serious drug offences after police searched her home.

Port Pirie CIB detectives attended and searched a Solomontown property on Thursday afternoon, 27 August. It will be alleged investigators found approximately 92 grams of methamphetamine, about $10,000 in cash and other evidence of drug trafficking.

A 25-year-old Solomontown woman was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled drug. She was refused police bail and will appear in the Port Pirie Magistrates Court later today.
