Police make arrest over Regent Railway Station sex assault

Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man in relation to a sexual assault which occurred in Reservoir earlier this month.

Investigators allege a man approached another man at the Regent Railway Station at about 4.50pm on Monday 2 November.

Explicit comments were made towards the victim before he was sexually assaulted.

Police have arrested and charged a 63-year-old Preston man with sexual assault of a child under sixteen.

He has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 9 April 2021.
