Police make arrest - Serious assault in Darwin City

Northern Territory Police have arrested a 38-year-old female in relation to an alleged serious assault incident in Darwin City earlier this week.

Members of the Domestic Family Violence Section arrested the woman this morning and she is expected to be charged later this evening.

A crime scene has been established and is currently being processed.

Detective Senior Sergeant Justin Bentley said, "There are no other offenders involved and this matter will now proceed to court.

"We thank the community for their ongoing support with matters such as this."
