Police make arrests - Aggravated assault in Darwin City

Northern Territory Police have arrested two males in relation to an alleged assaulted in Darwin City on the weekend.

Serious Crime members arrested a 19-year-old male on 15 February 2021. He was charged with cause serious harm and bailed to appear before Darwin Local Court on 14 April 2021.

Further investigations identified the second alleged co-offender, a 20-year-old male. He was arrested yesterday and charged with aggravated assault. The man has been bailed and expected to face Darwin Local Court on 2 March 2021.

The 25-year-old male victim has since been released from hospital.
