Northern Territory Police have arrested two youths following a robbery in Palmerston earlier this week.
At 6:20pm on Tuesday, two women attended a café on Palmerston Circuit and were approached by three youths who allegedly stole a handbag and shortly after attempted to steal a vehicle using a set of keys in the handbag.
The youths were unable to start the car and fled the scene before police arrival.
Strike Force Trident detectives identified two youths and arrested them yesterday. They have both been charged with
1 x Aggravated robbery
1 x Trespass - enter without authority
1 x Use motor vehicle without consent
1 x Serious breach of bail
Both were remanded to appear in court today.
Investigations are ongoing to identify the third youth.
