Police make arrests - Aggravated Robbery at Parap

Detectives from Strike Force Trident are investigating an aggravated robbery in Parap last night.

About 11pm on Sunday night, four female youths allegedly entered a service station on Stuart Highway and threatened the console operator before stealing tobacco and cash. The staff member was not assaulted and the youths fled.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Bland said, "The business was able to provide CCTV to detectives, who have since identified the youths.

Two 12-year-old girls have been arrested and are currently assisting police with their enquiries.

"Investigations are continuing in apprehending the remaining two co-offenders."
