Police make arrests - Armed robbery at Casuarina

Northern Territory Police have arrested two youths in relation to an armed robbery in Casuarina over the weekend.

Around 3:35pm 25 November 2023, police received a report of a robbery on business within a shopping centre along Temple Terrace.

Two youths entered the store, threatening a 32-year-old female employee with an edged weapon, demanding cigarettes.

The pair proceeded behind the counter before stealing an unknown quantity of products before fleeing the scene.

Strike Force Trident tracked the offenders and later arrested the pair.

The 15-year-old and 16-year-old males have been charged with aggravated robbery and are remanded to appear in court today.

Detectives from Serious Crime are investigating the incident and urging anyone with information to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
