Northern Territory Police have arrested all five youth offenders involved in serious property offences at a school on Maluka Road on Thursday 26 August 2021.
Plain clothes members of Strike Force Cerberus - Katherine's property crime unit - have arrested four 15-year-olds and one 13-year-old, who have been charged with:
- Unlawful entry of a building
- Stealing
- Damage to property
Superintendent Craig Garland said, "Police are working hard to reduce property crime in Katherine. The damage caused by these youths resulted in considerable disruption to the school family, as well as causing substantial physical damage to the school which is completely unacceptable."
