Police make drug arrests, Caloundra

Police have arrested and charged a 51-year-old Maroochydore man and 26-year-old Caloundra woman in relation to numerous drug offences including trafficking this morning.

Police executed a search warrant at a Browning Street address, where they located a quantity of cash, methylamphetamines, cannabis and drug paraphernalia.

Both have been charged with one count each of trafficking dangerous drugs, supplying dangerous drugs, possess item used in connection with drugs, possess property obtained from trafficking, fail to dispose of needles, unauthorised possession of a controlled drug and possess tainted property.

Police have objected to their bail and they will appear in the Maroochydore Magistrates Court tomorrow.
