Police Officer Chargedin Brisbane Region 5 March

A 49-year-old male Sergeant from the Brisbane Region has been charged in relation to alleged stalking and computer hacking offences.

The member has been charged with eleven counts of computer hacking (domestic violence offence), and one count of unlawful stalking (domestic violence offence).

He has been stood down from the Queensland Police Service and is expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on 26 March 2026.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when a member of the QPS faces serious allegations of misconduct.

This does not mean that the allegations against the member have been substantiated.
