Police Officer Issued NTA 21 August

A member of the Northern Territory Police Force has been served a Notice to Appear (NTA).

Yesterday, the 38-year-old male Constable was issued a NTA for Attempting to Pervert Justice and False Declaration, pursuant to sections 109 and 119 of the Criminal Code Act (NT), while on duty.

The officer has been suspended with pay and the matter remains under investigation.

He is scheduled to appear in Alice Springs Local Court on 15 October 2026.
