Police officer stood down, Ethical Standards Command

A 41-year-old detective sergeant from the Ethical Standards Command has been stood down from official duty with the Queensland Police Service and will be tasked to perform non-operational duties, Queensland Police say.

The officer is the subject of an investigation into allegations of committing domestic violence.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct.

This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
