A 52-year-old male Inspector from Operations Support Command has been stood down from the Queensland Police Service.
The officer is subject of an investigation into allegations of drink driving whilst off duty and has been served a notice to appear in the Holland Park Magistrates Court on 17 September 2019, charged with drink driving.
In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct. This does not mean that the allegations against the officer have been substantiated.
