Police Operation Concludes In Sydney CBD 13 September

A police operation has concluded with no significant incidents following multiple planned assemblies in Sydney's CBD today (Saturday 13 September 2025).

A high-visibility police operation was conducted, with hundreds of police deployed across the city to ensure the safety of both participants, as well as the community and local businesses.

The operation included specialist officers attached to the Police Transport Command, Traffic and Highway Patrol Command, Public Order and Riot Squad, Operations Support Group, Mounted Unit, Dog Unit and PolAir.

At Hyde Park, a 50-year-old man was arrested for breach of the peace and escorted from the area. A drone operator was spoken to and issued a warning for flying in a restricted area.

Two people were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, there were no reports of any serious injuries.

All temporary road closures have since been reopened.
