A police operation is currently underway at The Entrance after an armed man was shot this morning (Wednesday 21 October 2020).
The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being airlifted to hospital, while a woman has been arrested nearby.
Police are not seeking anyone else in relation to the incident.
Various road closures are in place and residents are urged to avoid the area.
