A Police operation is currently underway in Western Sydney following a Police pursuit which began at Lalor Park about 9.30am today.
Information from police involved in the operation suggests a police officer has discharged a firearm.
No injuries have been reported.
As the operation is ongoing motorists are urged to take caution of increased police activity in the area.
As at 11.30am the operation activity is in the Blue Mountains heading west.
