Police are appealing for information following an alleged break and enter in the Illawarra in 2023.
Police were called to a unit in in East Corrimal about 7am on Thursday 9 February 2023, following reports of an alleged break and enter and armed robbery.
Police were told two men entered a unit, before allegedly assaulting and threatening a 39-year-old man and 37-year-old woman inside.
The pair allegedly stole two gold rings and a watch and left the scene on an e-bike.
NSW Ambulance treated the man for head injuries and the woman for facial injuries before they were both taken to Wollongong Hospital.
Officers attached to Wollongong Police District responded, established a crime scene and commenced inquiries.
In February 2023, a 42-year-old man was arrested and charged with special aggravated break and enter.
As investigations continue, police are appealing for a second man seen in the location at the time of the incident.
He is described as tall, with a medium build and was wearing navy shorts, black Nike-brand hoody, read hat, black face mark at the time and black sunglasses.
Police believe the man may be able to assist with inquiries.
