Police Probe Alice Springs Structure Fire 15 September

The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information in relation to a structure fire that occurred yesterday evening in Alice Springs.

Around 7:50pm, an on-duty police officer sighted the rear of a residence on Bath Street in the Alice Springs CBD engulfed in flames. The officer identified a padlock had allegedly been broken on the front gate of the property, and confirmed no occupants were inside at the time of the fire.

NT Fire and Rescue Service attended the location and extinguished the fire.

The cause of the fire has not been determined, and a crime scene was established.
