Police are investigating after two armed robberies at Paradise Point and Underwood in the early hours of this morning, 9 December.
Just before 2am, police were called to a property on O'Grady Drive at Paradise Point in relation to a break and enter, in which a group of armed people gained entry to the house and stole a 2023 grey Mercedes Benz GLE53.
Police attended the address where they located a 41-year-old male occupant with a minor wound to his left arm and facial injuries.
The man was treated at the scene before being transported to Gold Coast University hospital in a stable condition.
Shortly after, police located the stolen Mercedes abandoned on the Pacific Motorway Exit 26 off-ramp at Shailer Park.
Around 2.40am, a break and enter occurred at a property on The Crescent at Underwood, during which a 2017 white BMW X5 and 2016 white Mercedes Benz E350 were stolen at knifepoint.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
Police then sighted the two stolen vehicles travelling in convoy with a blue Ford Falcon on Reserve Road at Upper Coomera, driving dangerously.
The Ford had been stolen during a burglary at Cresswell Crescent at Upper Coomera around 3am.
A collision occurred between the police vehicle and the Mercedes, and two occupants exited the stolen Mercedes and entered the Ford before fleeing.
A subsequent search of the Mercedes located a firearm and knife inside.
The Ford was located abandoned further along Reserve Road around 3.30am.
Investigations continue.
