Police probe armed robbery in Campbelltown

A crime scene has been established at a fast food restaurant in Campbelltown following an armed robbery early this morning, NSW Police say.

About 2.15am (Wednesday 7 November 2018), two men entered the Queen Street store armed with a meat cleaver and a knife.

They approached the counter and threatened staff while demanding cash.

The employee complied, and the armed man took the money before fleeing in a stolen vehicle.

Officers from Campbelltown Police Area Command attended and have commenced inquiries.

Both men have been described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 180cm to 185cm tall, and with their faces covered.

One man was wearing a black hooded jumper, pants and shoes, and a navy-blue cap. The second was wearing a grey t-shirt, boardshorts, black shoes, and a blue cap.

Anyone with information should contact police via Crime Stoppers.
