Police are investigating a serious crash at Ravenswood about 12.50pm today where a motorbike rider sustained serious injuries.
Emergency Services were called to the crash at the intersection of Ormond Street and Faulkner Road, involving a blue Ford Fiesta and a black Triumph motorbike.
The 34-year-old motorbike rider was transported by Ambulance to the Launceston General Hospital with what are reported to be serious injuries.
At this stage, the road remains blocked while a crash investigation is conducted at the scene.
Anyone with information in relation to the crash, or either vehicle travelling in the area prior to the crash, is asked to contact Launceston Police on 131 444 and quote ESCAD 154-24102025.
