Police are investigating a public place shooting in Sydney’s west.
About 9.45pm today, police were called to Orchardleigh Street, Yennora, after reports of shots fired, NSW Police say.
Police from Fairfield Local Area Command attended and located and numerous casings on the roadway.
A canvass has been conducted, but no injured persons or property damage has been located at this stage.
A crime scene was established which is being examined by forensic specialists.
It is unclear whether the shots were fired from a vehicle.
Any witnesses are urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
