Police Probe Sudden Death in Slacks Creek 17 August

Detectives have charged a man with murder following investigations into the death of another man in Slacks Creek last week.

Following investigations into the 29-year-old's death at Reserve Park, on Gunungai Drive, around 7am on Wednesday, 13 August, police conducted search warrants at addresses in Bald Hills and Slacks Creek today where a suspect was taken into custody.

Operation X-Ray Aggregate was established and involves detectives from the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch, Intelligence Unit and the Homicide Investigation Unit.

A 28-year-old Slacks Creek man has been charged with one count each of murder, breach domestic violence offence and drug offences.

He is expected to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court tomorrow, 18 August.

Investigations are ongoing.
