Northern Territory Police are investigating the suspicious death of a woman at Borroloola this morning.
Around 10:30am, police and local clinic staff responded to reports of an unresponsive female at a residence in a town camp.
Upon arrival, first responders located a 27-year-old woman who was unresponsive and subsequently declared deceased at the scene at 10:50am.
A crime scene has been established.
The woman's 27-year-old partner has since been taken into police custody.
Detectives from the Northern Territory Police Crime Division are deploying to Borroloola to assist local police.
