Police are appealing for information following a suspicious house fire in the state's northeast.
About 5.55pm on Friday 8 August 2025, emergency services were called to Cossa Street, Tamworth, following reports of an abandoned house fire.
On arrival, officers attached to Oxley Police District located a house well alight.
Fire and Rescue NSW attended the scene and extinguished the fire; however it was destroyed.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the incident has commenced.
