Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit detectives have released digital composite images of two men following a horrifying aggravated home invasion in Keilor Downs earlier this year.
It is understood four balaclava-clad offenders forced entry to a Denbigh Court home on Monday, 20 April about 2am.
The offenders, believed to be armed with firearms and a sledgehammer, forced three occupants into one of the rooms.
The victims were covered with blankets while the offenders stole a number of items and made threats with a firearm that they would return if a large sum of cash was not paid before a deadline.
After spending two hours inside the property, the offenders fled the scene about 4.05am.
The occupants, a 62-year-old man, a 54-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl, were not physically injured during the incident.
Detectives have released CCTV of a vehicle of interest as well as digital composite images of two people they believe can assist with their enquiries.
At this stage, it is believed the incident was targeted and the offenders have not returned to the property.
The investigation remains ongoing.
