Police release images of robbery suspect - Bonnyrigg Heights

Police have released CCTV as investigations continue into a robbery in Sydney's south-west.

Just before 7pm on Tuesday 3 September 2019, a 37-year-old man withdrew cash from an automatic teller machine (ATM) at a shopping centre in Bonnyrigg.

The man then walked towards a laneway in Bibby's Place and Edensor Road when he was grabbed by two men and assaulted.

The two men then stole his wallet before running down Bibby's Place and into the shopping centre.

Members of the public and the 37-year-old man chased after them, but they managed to flee the area.

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation.

As part of their inquiries, detectives have released CCTV vision of two men who may be able to assist with the investigation.

One man has been described as being of male, Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, 25-30 old, 165cm tall, heavy build, wearing black

The second man has been described as Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, 25-30 old, 170-175cm tall, heavy/solid build, wearing black long sleeve jacket and black track pants.
