Police remain concerned for welfare of Billy Ray Waters

Police are continuing to work to establish the movements of 19-year-old Billy Ray Waters who was reported missing to police on 11 August.

"As part of the ongoing investigation to locate Billy, police continue to conduct enquiries to establish Billy's movements since he was last seen," said Detective Sergeant Darren Turner.

"Enquiries overnight have established the last confirmed sighting of Billy was on Holbrook Street in Invermay on 4 August. Police have been unable to confirm the previous report that he was sighted on 8 August."

Billy is described as 175cms tall, of slim build, with below shoulder length brown hair and green eyes.

He was last seen wearing tan coloured low crutch skate pants, a tie-dye shirt, a black puffer jacket, a 'Raiders' cap and multi coloured green/grey Nike runners.

Anyone with information in relation to Billy's whereabouts or movements is asked to contact Launceston Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.
