Police renew appeal for vehicle sightings to establish movements of missing Launceston man, TAS

As part of the police investigation to establish the movements of missing Launceston man Jake Daniel Anderson-Brettner police are appealing for information on sightings of three cars overnight Wednesday-Thursday, Tasmania Police say.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw any of these vehicles in the Riverside or West Tamar areas between 6pm Wednesday and 4.30pm Thursday:

  • black 2011 Nissan Navara ute, registration H89ND
  • black 2015 Range Rover Evoque station wagon
  • black 2016 Jeep Cherokee.

24-year-old Jake was last seen in Launceston around 6pm on Wednesday driving his black Nissan ute (registration H89ND). His ute was located unattended in Balmoral Avenue, Riverside, around 4.30pm Thursday.

Anyone with information in relation to Jake’s whereabouts or the movements of any of the vehicles is urged to contact Tasmania Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.
