Police Respond to Double Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Wembley on Thursday, 8 January 2026.

About 10.50pm, two motorcycles, one travelling east and the other west, collided on Grantham Street near Pangbourne Street.

One male rider sustained critical injuries and died at the scene. The second male rider sustained critical injuries and died a short time later in hospital.

Major Crash investigators are urging anyone who saw the crash, or either motorcycle travelling in the area prior to the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au or by calling 1800 333 000.
