Police can confirm a person has died following yesterday's crash on State Highway 57 yesterday, at Levin.
The collision, involving a truck and car, was reported about 6.50am on Thursday and happened between Tararua Road and Meadowvale Road.
Sadly, the driver of the car died at the scene and Police are now providing support to their next of kin.
Enquiries into the crash are ongoing.
