One person has died and two others are seriously injured following the crash on Te Puke Highway last night.
The two-vehicle crash happened on the highway between Bell Road and Poplar Lane around 7:15pm.
The road was closed while the Serious Crash Unit conducted a scene examination, however has since reopened.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
