Police responding to fatal motorcycle crash at Cashmere

A man has died following a crash between a motorcycle and a car in Cashmere this evening (Saturday February 20).

Preliminary information suggests the 29-year-old motorcyclist from Warner was travelling along Lilley Road at around 8pm when he collided with an oncoming vehicle.

The rider died at the scene while the two occupants of the other car escaped serious injury.

The crash is being investigated by the Forensic Crash Unit with police appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, or who may have relevant dashcam vision, to contact police (details below).
