Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred in Derby about 1.20am on Saturday, 8 June 2019.
A 23-year-old man was riding a red Honda CRF 450 off-road motorcycle in a westerly direction along Lovegrove Street, when the motorcycle left the road and struck a tree.
The man received critical injuries in the crash and was conveyed to Derby Hospital where he died a short time later.
Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the Honda motorcycle or any other vehicle travelling in the area prior to the crash. Anyone with any information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
