Police responding to fatal motorcycle crash at Strathpine

A man has died following a motorcycle crash at Strathpine earlier today.

Preliminary investigations indicate around 12.40pm, a motorcycle was travelling east on Gympie Road when the rider struck a parked vehicle which caused him to be thrown into the path of an oncoming truck.

Forensic Crash Unit continue to investigate the cause of the accident.

Investigators are urging anyone in the area at the time with dashcam to contact police.
