Police responding to fatal single-vehicle crash at Monaro

A man has died following a fatal single-vehicle crash in the states south.

Yesterday (Friday 25 June 2021), a Holden Commodore was located crashed by a passing motorist in scrub off Nerriga Road, Nerriga, about 100km east of Queanbeyan.

Officers from Monaro Police District attended and found the driver and sole occupant, a 24-year-old man, deceased.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstance surrounding the crash is underway.

It is believed to have occurred shortly after 8pm yesterday.

Police will prepare a report for the information of the Coroner.
