Police responding to fatal single-vehicle crash at Uralla

A man has died following a single-vehicle crash in that state's northern tablelands this week.

About 8.40am yesterday (Tuesday 13 September), emergency services were called to the New England Highway, about 2km north of Uralla, after a silver Mazda left the road and struck a guard rail.

The driver – an 85-year-old man – died at the scene.

The female passenger was uninjured.

Officers attached to New England Police District have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
