Police responding to fatal single-vehicle crash at Rosehill

A woman has died following a single-vehicle crash in Rosehill today.

Emergency services were called about 3.35pm (Sunday 7 July 2019) to the intersection of James Ruse Drive and Grand Avenue, Rosehill, following reports a car had crashed into a pole.

The female driver and sole-occupant of the vehicle was declared deceased at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics.

She is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be a 73-year-old.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area command attended and established a crime scene.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has commenced.

A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
