The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal two-vehicle traffic crash at North Maclean this morning, February 27.
Initial information indicates a grey Mitsubishi ASX and a blue Yamaha YZF-RS crashed at the intersection of Teviot Road and Scott Lane around 6am.
The rider of the Yamaha YZF-RS, a 31-year-old Dinmore man was declared deceased at the scene.
Anyone with information that could assist investigations, including dashcam or other CCTV vision, is urged to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
