The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating after a 12-year-old girl died following a vehicle and e-scooter crash in Laidley this afternoon, April 19.
Initial investigations indicate that both vehicles were travelling south on Vaux Street and around 3pm the rider of the scooter has fallen into the path of a grey Holden Barina on Vaux Street.
The rider of the scooter, a 12-year-old Laidley girl, was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle were not physically injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances of the incident and are appealing for anyone with relevant dashcam/CCTV footage to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
