Police and emergency services responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash at Gilldora just before midday today, 18 July.
About 11.45am, a blue Ford Falcon and a white Holden Colorado were involved in a head on collision on Mary Valley Road.
A passenger in the Ford, a 21-year-old Victory Heights woman was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Ford, a 17-year-old Gympie boy sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
The driver of the Holden, a 67-year-old Redbank Plains man sustained serious injuries and was transported to Gympie Hospital.
Mary Valley Road was closed between Ashton Road and Gilldora Road however has since reopened.
Police are appealing for anyone with relevant information or Dashcam vision to contact Policelink.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
