The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating a fatal car and motorbike traffic crash at Cannon Hill this afternoon, 8 November.
Initial enquires indicate around 12:30pm, a Yamaha YZF-R3 motorbike and a Daihatsu hatchback crashed at the intersection of Wynnum Road and Molloy Road.
The rider of the Yamaha, a 27-year-old Cannon Hill man, was declared deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Daihatsu, a 68-year-old Morningside man, was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances of the incident and are appealing for anyone who may have relevant information or video footage to contact police.
