Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Bundaberg 22 February

A man has died following a two-vehicle traffic crash in Calavos this afternoon, 22 February.

Around 12,50pm, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Dahls Road and Three Chain Road, following reports of a crash involving a grey Yamaha motorcycle and a bronze Toyota Prado.

The rider of the Yamaha, a 34-year-old Bundaberg West man, was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota, a 76-year-old Kepnock man, was not physically injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage, particularly anyone with relevant vision of the motorbike prior to the crash, to come forward.
