Police Responding To Fatal Traffic Crash At Tanah Merah

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal traffic crash at Tanah Merah yesterday afternoon, 6 June.

Initial investigations indicate that shortly before 3pm, a silver Mitsubishi Triton and a grey Mazda hatchback were involved in a crash on the westbound lanes of the Logan Motorway, near the Drews Road on-ramp.

Following the initial collision, the Mitsubishi left the roadway and rolled.

The driver and sole occupant of the Mitsubishi, a 61-year-old Loganlea man, died at the scene.

The driver of the Mazda, a 39-year-old Hillcrest woman, and her passenger, a 39-year-old Hillcrest man, were not physically injured.

The Forensic Crash Unit is continuing investigations into the circumstances of the crash.
